It's tough to find a decent but quick meal for a value on the boardwalk. The restaurants know they have a view and a steady stream of tourists. They don't have to work that hard on the food. We went to Delizia twice when it opened last year, and it was a bad experience each time: expensive food that is so-so at best, + bad service with an attttude. The Figtree, Candle and Waterfront cafes are not great either, though better. The best place is Piccolo Ristorante just off the Boardwalk on Dudley.
